01 What comes with a Grade Defender?
Your Grade Defender includes its embedded, preprogrammed NFC tag and serialized physical identity. The trading card and top loader are not included.
02 Which holder fits Grade Defender?
Use a standard 3 × 4 top loader. If your holder is extra thick, oversized, or a specialty format, compare its dimensions before purchasing.
03 Will a graded slab or magnetic holder fit?
Not in the current model—it fits standard 3 × 4 top loaders only. Grade Defender for one-touch holders and Graded Defender for graded slabs are coming soon. Compatibility details will be confirmed for each new format before release.
04 Will every 3D-printed Defender look identical?
Each Grade Defender is individually 3D printed. Subtle layer lines, texture, and minor surface variations are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process.
05 What phone or app do I need?
You need a compatible NFC-enabled smartphone and an internet connection. No app is required to tap the Defender and open its public page.
06 Does Grade Defender grade or authenticate cards?
No. Grade Defender is a display and digital collection tool—not a card-grading, authentication, appraisal, or pricing service. It does not guarantee card condition, authenticity, grade, or value.
07 How should I use the available market signal?
Use it as an informational starting point. Market pricing is an estimate and may vary by printing, finish, language, condition, marketplace activity, and available sales data. It is not a guaranteed sale price, appraisal, or offer.
08 Can I change the card connected to my Defender?
Yes. Rebind the displayed card whenever your collection changes without rewriting the NFC tag. The Defender ID, permanent URL, and serialized physical identity remain the same.
